Old Truck's Still Runnin' Good
My people are simple people. Some years ago my grandfather bought a used white Lincoln town car. This car was/is one of his delights. When he would list the blessings of his life, his car immediately followed his family and pretty much rounded out his list. There is something virtuous about the person that can be filled with joy by something that many people wouldn't even think about. My grandfather rarely goes looking for entertainment to make him content, but rather finds contentment in the concrete aspects of his daily life. I think about this when I get very excited about my almost broken down little red car.
