This Big, Wide, Mysterious Sense of Home Or On the Delights of Letter-Writing Sunny Sunday Afternoons

From my Polish correspondent:

You writes me so much about Your Christmas, Your family, gifts and Your Home. (I write specially with a big letter, because we think here about this "big," wide and mysterious sens of Home) And this sounds very beautiful, very familiar and warm. With Your letter I received some of this atmosphere of Your Home and family and american style of life and Christmas time. this description of Christmas, time which You spent very close to the forests and natural environment it's very similar to our, my Christmas. ... It's my favourite thing--to start walking overall there, to go deep into the forest for a while day, looking around me and to finding new places, discovering birds and other animals which are in the bush. ... So--when You are writing me about your father and Your's woods, terrain where must be so beautiful, my heart beat stronger. ... Because this beauty and with the help of it, we can recognize and discover the speech, voice of God. And practically, with natural experience, with a good book, some philosohical texts--it's true that our life is going to be better, more clear and simple. In other words--thanks to the beauty of intelligence, knowledge and environment we can find on the one hand the good way of life, on the other hand--God.
