After losing my black and white paisley gloves last winter, I needed a new pair. Everything at Target I didn't care for. So I bought this pair, which had tacky gold colored buttons. I replaced the buttons with some from my mother's jar of buttons. Another project of which I am inordinately proud.

I too feel inordinately proud of anything that I have any part in making, no matter how small a part. I was just remembering fondly one time when I replaced the body of a lamp, complete with spliced wires. It caused me to style myself an electrician, which led to me trying to diagnose our broken coffee maker and thereby melting my voltmeter.
