Weddinging

Yes--that's my super cool grandparents on the dance floor in shades! Later in the evening my grandfather said, "I never could dance with anyone but her." They hit their 61st anniversary in a couple of weeks.

The wedding was a blast--the bride in her mermaid dress (which was hard to dance in) introduced a new dance, which we all mimicked--you put your legs together, bend your knees, and turn from side to side while swishing your dress (hard to describe; fun to imitate). She also sometimes just went into the middle of the dance floor and twirled.

The cousins (there are 8 in that family) kept the dance floor lively. Now, admittedly, I'm no expert dancer. However, I really was not prepared for Ilana cracking up repeatedly when she saw me dancing ("I like the way you dance; it makes me laugh!").

Oh! And a quote from Stearns and Our Favorite Girl Cousin:

Stearns: "I look so old; I have wrinkles on my forehead."
OFGC: "I do too. Those are from studying. Or is it from thinking?"
