There is very serious flooding in central Pennsylvania. I'm thinking about and praying for all of my people there. In the midst of this difficult situation, respect for the man who brought his gun up on the roof with him:
"Rescue workers had to use extra caution in area of West Creek Rd in Hepburn Twp where a man stranded on roof was firing a shotgun1030 am" (from a Williamsport Sun Gazette tweet--I'm assuming it was to signal for help)
Also: my father is really attached to his rain gauge, so when Ilana asked my mother how they were fairing, my mother replied: "Daddy is going crazy emptying the rain gauge."
