Brick House

I love the brickwork in this house in my neighborhood--there are two houses like this where the bricks are playfully arranged.

It's perhaps most noticeable at the corner of the house, which looks like it's folding in on itself, like layers of rock in a mountain after many, many years.

I think that the chimney is great.

As is the whimsical way the bricks are laid above the window, which is usually the spot where a different brick pattern is employed to trick the eye into thinking there's a beam or support.
