I love big cities at Christmastime. Chicago was all decorated. We tried to make it to a Christmas parade, but after half an hour stuck in a crowd with no view of the parade, we decided on dinner instead.
I love the holiday windows at Macy's on State Street. They're like a children's book, only burst out of the binding.

Love the photos! NYC at Christmastime is also magical. I miss it this time of year.
I know--last year we went to NYC in December, and this year I was so sad to miss it (I think it's a good Francisco's birthday tradition). But then I saw Chicago and it was okay! The Caribbean in December will be a good replacement for NYC:)
