~ Disability rules for qualifying for the Paralympics (especially that the disability is permanent) shows the difficulty/impossibility of categorizing disability. (Also: why is it important that the disability is permanent? What if, as in many cases, that is impossible to predict?)
~ Is this a joke? A unicorn? I like Kate's taste when it comes to clothes, but not when it comes to coat of arms (coats of arms?).
~ The Little Sisters of the Poor, a religious order that cares for the elderly poor, is bringing a suit against the Affordable Care Act. The Little Sisters of the Poor is a wonderful order, doing excellent work.

The lion and unicorn are heraldic supporters for the royal coat of arms (the lion is England and the unicorn is Scotland -- hence the chain). The unicorn is supporting Kate's arms, but it's not part of her arms -- she wouldn't have chosen it herself, it was going to be there no matter what considering who she's married to.
The 103 year old diner-out sounds like a hoot. I'd probably do the same thing, even if I didn't have the money for it -- after all, what are the odds that the credit collectors will still be able to hound me five years later? :)
