DC

Well, I have just piles and piles of summer pictures to post, which will hopefully make up for a mostly picture-less summer.

Francisco and I had a nice get-away at the end to DC, a city both of us know well, which made it a perfect get-away. We saw a couple of exhibits, visited bookstores, coffee shops, a market, all at a much slower pace than when we're trying to pack everything from a new city into a couple of days.

The picture below somehow got corrupted when I copied it, but I thought it was a great statue of a mother and child, so I share the half that remains.
