The Week

I barely remember my days--meetings, meetings, meetings, grading, trying to understand my upcoming duties as furniture. And in the evening: Parties. 

Last night we had a reception and dinner with Francisco's colleagues. I had two manhattans and since that's the first time in ?? that I've had a mixed drink, I was basically drunk and irreverent and hopefully delightful. I had a blast. 

A night off tonight! 

This morning was my first time to really test my new *warmest* coat in feels like -4 on a bike. My legs were frostbitten by the time I got to work and my torso was sweaty. So I think it's a success.
