The Star Barn

The Star Barn is a Lancaster County landmark, although it technically isn't in Lancaster County. It's a Gothic Revival style barn (who knew that barn architecture was this sophisticated?! Of course, nothing in Pennsylvania should surprise you).

This indicates to me that deep down, you really must love the state whose ego you say is misguided. Haven't I seen that star somewhere before?

Haha! And then there was the time I went two stepping in Austin with a girl who lived in the state with the misguided ego. Afterward, we were debriefing and I was talking about "the guy with the big star on his shirt." She was obviously miffed to have to tell me that his shirt was their state flag. Further point: it is odd to wear a flag as a shirt. Possibly exception being a soccer game.
