For My Birthday

...a post about anthropologie green dresses (a wonderful combination of two of the best things).

First, here is the perfect dress for the Fourth of July! (Green for every occasion!)

This dress is covered with tulips! And has a brooch at the waist! Okay, okay, so a little more green would help it pop, but it's not too shabby...

I don't particularly care for this one, except the name: "Cathedral Windows"! It even has shimmery lines in the fabric that look like sunlight coming in a window. And you know how I feel about stained glass!

Okay, so I don't actually consider this dress to be green, although the description does say, "Wee white buds lend a fragile air to Robin's already delicate faux-wrap frock of mossy silk and fluttery georgette." I'm not sure what most of that means, but mossy does mean something close to green. And the fluttery sleeves are lovely, and most certainly "fragile."
