I don't actually care too much for football, so I wasn't particularly excited to watch The Blind Side. Plus, while I'm a sucker for inspirational sports movies, my standard is Hoosiers, and that's pretty hard to beat.I think that it was Sandra Bullock (on whom #1tomatolover has a crush) who made the movie for me--she was quite a mother in the way that I know mothers--determined, intense, selfless and pushing for everything good for her children.
And Michael's protectiveness is endlessly endearing.
