I used to think that the greatest problem with natural gas was all of the water that we'd be shooting into the middle of the earth (if we need to conserve water while brushing our teeth, I really don't understand what we're doing sending loads and loads of it into the middle of the earth). But now it seems that a big problem is the fact that all gas companies
aren't shooting that water into the middle of the earth: instead, some are dumping it right in the rivers! According to
this article, Pennsylvania, unlike most other states, allows some gas companies to dispose of the tainted water in rivers.
