Hahaha. The thing is, I hate the oats any which way, so I'd rather just have the ones that I can cook in the microwave without exploding all over.
But it's good to know that I have the superior quality, because the fact of the matter is, I'm too cheap to throw them away and get the ones that I want.
a) They're quick. b) You can just pop them in the microwave rather than stirring them in a pot on the stove and dirtying two dishes. (The old-fashioned ones spill everywhere when I make them in the microwave.)

It makes perfect sense that you would buy old fashioned oats, though.
I resent the quick ones, because I grab them by mistake and they are So Inferior.
