Rant

My apologies for my friends who have had this done already or will in the future have this done. I will look at the pictures and tell you that they look adorable.

But inside, I will be slightly creeped out.

I think that infant pictures that pose the infant to look like a little, happy adult are just creepy.

I love babies. They are quite possibly my favorite thing in the world. But I think that babies should be primarily photographed where they belong: in peoples' arms. Not stuck in a basket or laying on a bench all curled up. And most certainly not posed with their head in their arms, as if they're adults who can prop their head up in their hands all by themselves.

No kidding, this picture makes me nauseous.

HT: Sayers ranted about this first. It got me thinking about it. And now I can't stop.
