I'm starting a new class today in an unusual location. I'm very nervous. Not for my safety, which everyone asks about. But that the logistics all go smoothly. I'm going by myself for the first time, trying out driving the 15-passenger van. Worried I'll get there too soon and need to sit in a freezing car (don't worry, I'll leave the car running). Worried that my contact there has not printed the materials that I need (she never replied to my email and I'm not allowed to bring my own materials). Deep breaths.
Yesterday I had therapy, so I was quite tired out. Plus the boys had the day off and were mostly inside, so high energy. This morning a two-hour delay for the cold (the two-hour delay did nothing for the temperatures, which have continued to fall and will not rise till like 3 p.m.). The boys coerced me into making them pancakes.
Last night after prayers, I told Blaze that he really needed to wiggle out the tooth that's been loose for quite sometime--the new one has already come in behind it. After a moment, he declared, "It came out." While we went to the bathroom to check on it, Q declared, "One came out for me, too." Two teeth in one night! Then somehow I was so tired that I forgot to be the tooth fairy, so they both got 50 cents in the morning. (Q was yanking so many teeth out for a while that the tooth fairy stopped giving him money; as a result, I guess he lets the loose ones in now until he can just lift them out.)
Pray for me!
