Update

Francisco's procedure seemed to go well yesterday. After a 12-hour day in the hospital, we're pooped and we're doing some intense resting today.

Francisco could see the device being placed via video screen, which is amazing.

I was able to focus on eating lunch and caring for the baby during the procedure and so I didn't have too much time to be anxious--except for one moment at the end when they switched his status on the screen I was watching from "in procedure" to "extended stay," which, aside from sounding like we're at a hotel, made me think that there were complications. But there weren't, for which we are relieved and grateful.
