St. Augustine, the School

There's a beautiful school in St. Augustine that four of my cousins attended. I visited the campus once when I was in college, but I'd forgotten how beautiful the campus is.

It was built in the 1880s as a luxury hotel and it rivals the Library of Congress for my own personal most beautiful places list.

Notice the seashells! It's important to remember that you're at the beach!

I love columns made of women--their dresses work so well as the fluting of the column.

The rotunda is gold plate with intricate designs.

There is a lot of Tiffany glass throughout, including in the dining hall, which has large, curved, Tiffany windows.
