The Weekend

Still tired, but still headache-less.

Sunday was the Christmas parade. I've never seen a float with a doner vertical rotisserie personified. That was the highlight of the Christmas parade for me. (And a phrase I'd never imagined myself writing.)

Our kids are ridiculously lucky--because one leg of the Christmas parade goes in front of our house, everyone is eager to give our kids, the first kids they've seen a load of candy. After the Christmas parade: Candy sorting.

We walked to mass for the holy day in some delightfully temperate weather. We got to hear the sermon I complained about in this space on Saturday a second time. The Lord thinks I don't suffer enough.
