Visitors!

Yesterday Papa asked for a small art gallery (a smart request) and so we headed to the Wallace collection.

An artistic saddle

An amazing old cabinet (1580s)

Lots of armor, including horse armor

Amazing Turkish tiles

We enjoyed a very relaxing tea in their cafe.

One of our favorite Hermes stories--when he steals Apollo's cows

Above: A painting with the white clay pipes that we found while mudlarking! So cool!

From Dante.

In the art museum, the boys primarily drew and colored.

Afterward, we walked to Hyde Park--we stopped by a playground and then the Italian garden.

I think after that we just headed home. I was totally tired out--I don't know how Nana and Papa are doing it--when we got home, they played Pit and Skip-bo with the boys. They are incredible. We watched a bit of Sense and Sensibility.

For dinner: Leftovers and carbonara.
