In the evening, we sent the boys to use up some of their British money by buying treats at the off license a couple of blocks away. They were thrilled and came home with cotton candy, gummies, and chocolate caramel candies. We ate them while watching a little Charlie Chaplain and a little Laurel and Hardy. Blaze laughed so hard.
Somehow Blaze has a two euro coin. He is very concerned about changing it before we leave. I keep telling him to calm down: "If we don't manage to change it, I'll give you two dollars once we get to the U.S.," I said. Blaze: "But what are they [the dollars] called, 'euros' or 'pounds'?" We laughed so hard--this kid is very British.
