Blaze is full of questions about how the world works at the moment, and they are charming.
Yesterday I didn't manage to pack. We went to mass (that church has been a wonderful place for us this year--I was sad that we didn't get to say good-bye to the priest). In the afternoon, one of Blaze's friends and his dad came over. The kids played; the adults chatted. Leftovers for dinner.
On Saturday we sent the boys to play at the park by themselves! Today Q walked to school himself because I needed to bring Blaze a bit later. The independence that is possible here is just great.
